John Scialdone began his legal career in New Orleans in 1992 with a firm specializing in maritime law. Mr. Scialdone  joined the firm’s newly opened Gulfport office in January 2010.  He is a graduate of the University of Michigan and Tulane University Law School.   His practice continues to focus on matters of concern to vessel owners and operators including vessel construction, documentation, financing, and insurance.  Mr. Scialdone also specializes in the areas of personal injury defense, casualty litigation, and contract disputes.  Mr. Scialdone’s representative clients include owners and operators of bulk terminals; Jones Act blue-water vessels; deep water semi-submersible drilling vessels; offshore supply vessels and crew boats; near shore tugboats; and inland and river push boats. Mr. Scialdone is admitted to practice in both Louisiana and Mississippi.
